Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

I am reaching out today with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my wonderful husband, Jeff. He was recently diagnosed with colon cancer and must urgently undergo surgery to have part of his colon removed. While we are staying positive about his medical care and upcoming surgery, the financial reality of this situation has hit us hard. Jeff will be unable to work during his extensive recovery period. We unfortunately have no savings to fall back on to carry us through this crisis. We are facing an overwhelming amount of stress, not just from the medical diagnosis, but from the immediate fear of how we will survive day-to-day. We need urgent help to cover our basic living expenses while Jeff focuses on healing, including: Rent to ensure we don't lose our home, Utilities to keep our electricity, water, and heat running, Food and basic household essentials.
