In early December, Jess simply wanted a few extra minutes of sleep on a Saturday morning. Jeff was going to get the girls breakfast and turn on their cartoons — just a normal, quiet family start to the weekend.
But that morning quickly became anything but normal.
Jeff began calling out for Jess. He couldn’t lift his arms or hold up his head. They headed straight to the hospital, where doctors determined he had suffered two mini strokes. During further testing, they discovered something more — a tumor.
Jeff fully recovered from the strokes, but they soon learned that was only the beginning of this journey.
After seeking guidance from some of the best specialists Cincinnati has to offer, Jeff underwent surgery in late January to remove the tumor. They waited prayerfully for answers, trusting God through the uncertainty.
The diagnosis came back as a Grade 3 glioma — an aggressive form of brain cancer. Jeff will now begin radiation and follow an aggressive treatment plan.
While the road ahead will not be easy, Jeff and Jess are choosing faith over fear. They are leaning into prayer, surrounding themselves with trusted doctors, and doing everything possible to support healing — including lifestyle and nutrition changes.
Jeff is a devoted husband and proud father of two beautiful young girls who absolutely adore their dad. He is also a hardworking business owner who runs a successful pest control company and takes great pride in providing for his family.
As he focuses on treatment and recovery, time away from work may impact their family financially. This is where community becomes such a gift.
The Ganim family is incredibly blessed with supportive family and friends. If you feel led, please consider coming alongside them — whether through prayer, sharing this page, or offering financial support. Every contribution, big or small, helps ease the burden and allows Jeff and Jess to focus on what matters most: healing, hope, and time together as a family.
We believe in the power of prayer.
We believe in strong medicine.
And we believe in a God who walks with us through every valley.
Thank you for loving the Ganim family so well!
