Support Jeff's Fearless Fight Against Cancer

Just three days short of his birthday, we received the devastating news that our cheerful and loving cousin Jeff Moncada has been diagnosed with cancer.

Father of three and a veteran of the U.S. Marines, Jeff will be turning 60 years old this Thursday, September 16th.

 

 

Together with his family, Jeff has been battling the detrimental disease silently as they also mourned the passing of their eldest son Harmon and Uncle Freddie but never without hope, faith, and keeping a smile on his face. He has been courageous and strong for his family, but it’s time for us to come together as a community to support them as much as we can.

 

In early October 2021, Jeff will undergo a complicated yet lifesaving treatment called The Scionti MMM HIFU technique, a comprehensive approach that integrates four components necessary for a successful High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) procedure:

 

 

On behalf of the Moncada family, we are asking for some financial support as this is an expensive procedure that has weighed on the entire family during an already troubling time. We understand that everyone is going through their own turmoil--physically, mentally, or financially--and appreciate anything that will help go towards this fund.

 

If this reaches at least 2,500 people and we each donate at least $10 we can ensure Jeff’s treatment. This is a time-sensitive crowdfunding effort since the procedure is expected to begin in October. Anything helps!
