Support Jeff Crisp’s Battle Against Glioblastoma

On 8/13/24, doctors discovered Jeff had a tumor in the left temporal lobe region of his brain. Six days later, on 8/20/24, Jeff underwent a 7+ hour surgery to have the tumor removed. Due to the area of the brain where his tumor was located and with it pressing on critical arteries, the surgeon was unable to safely remove the entire tumor. The pathology report confirmed the devastating news that Jeff has Glioblastoma (GBM), Grade 4. Glioblastoma is an aggressive and rare form of brain cancer with no cure, and the treatment options are limited. To receive the best care, Jeff is traveling to MD Anderson in Houston, TX to discuss treatment options and to see if he qualifies for clinical trials.

Jeff is a father of two boys (ages 8 & 14), husband of 19 years, police officer for 22 years, and a fire fighter for 26 years. He has selflessly dedicated his life to helping others. If you know Jeff, you know that he is a fighter! He has a beautiful family to fight for and is ready to go to battle, but he can't fight this war against cancer on his own. He will soon start intensive treatments which will require multiple trips to TX and possibly other states.

With Jeff being out of work since his diagnosis, we felt led to create this GoFundMe page so that family, friends, our community, and kind-hearted strangers can help provide financial support to Jeff and his family. During his initial consult at MD Anderson, it was confirmed that Jeff will need to spend 6 weeks in Houston for the first round of treatment. Jeff will be required to travel multiple times for treatment, with each trip costing several thousand dollars for flights and lodging alone.
