Hello, my name is Jeffrey. I am in Florida and am homeless and living in the woods. I am diabetic and have just had my third amputation on my foot. I am trying to get disability, but they say the amputation needs to be at or above the ankle . I have lost my job because of the time in the hospital and now have to go back to the dirty woods. I am a caretaker to a 67-year-old gentleman that is homeless with me and luckily he has been able to stay in the hospital room with me for a couple days as we have had severe weather.. I usually donate plasma to help us out with the bills and also helps save the lives of others. I have donated over 50 times in the last year but will not be able to do this anymore..This is my third amputation and my sixth hospital admission because being homeless on the dirty streets just causes more infections. I am trying to get help for a hotel room to recover in for a few days and also for antibiotic medication. I do not get any assistance as far as food stamps or disability, and I cannot traverse to any type of food closet. I would greatly appreciate anything, as anything helps, and I am the type of person that pays it forward when and if I can. Please and thank you, and God bless us all.

EDIT: It is with sadness in my heart that I have to pass on the information that my friend Robert McPherson has passed this afternoon of a heart attack,at age 67 .. He was a lifelong resident in Melbourne Florida..We had some good times and bad times and I'm already missing you dearly..Rip my friend... PS
