Support Jeffrey’s Cancer Care & End of Life
Donation protected
My husband Jeffrey was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic, liver, and stomach cancer just last week. This news has turned our world upside down. Jeffrey is the kindest and most generous man I know, with a deep faith in Jesus and a heart for both people and animals. He earned his PhD in divinity in 2017 and has always been someone who treats everyone he meets with respect and compassion. As a devoted dad to our four dogs and four cats, he brings warmth and love to our home every day.
I’ve been an elementary school teacher for the past ten years, and we recently made the difficult decision to relocate from Neosho, Missouri to Columbia, Missouri to be closer to family after my dad passed away in April. I have a new job with the Columbia school district beginning in late August, but with Jeffrey’s diagnosis, it’s unclear if I’ll be able to work and care for him at the same time. We’ve had to use our moving savings for his care, and we’re struggling to cover the costs of medical treatment, travel for appointments, and basic living expenses. With both of us unable to work right now, we’re also facing the reality of not being able to afford his end of life care and funeral services.
We are reaching out for help because we simply can’t do this alone. Any support will go directly toward Jeffrey’s medical care, travel for treatment, and the expenses we face as we try to navigate this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness and generosity will help us focus on making the most of the time we have left together, and we are deeply grateful for any help you can provide.
