Support Jeffrey “Glenn” Ogles Jr. Through Cancer Treatment

I’m Sarah and Jeff is my younger brother. He has a hard time asking for help but right now he needs it.

In March, Jeffrey “Glenn” Ogles Jr. was diagnosed with carcinoma ex-pleomorphic adenoma (CXPA), a rare and aggressive cancer. Since April 20th, Jeff has been undergoing daily radiation treatment—five days a week—at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

This treatment schedule is demanding, both physically and financially. Jeff must travel to and from the hospital an hour each way five days a week, which requires him to leave work hours early. Travel, combined with early onset of side effects, are decreasing the amount of time he is able to work. As a result, the loss of income combined with ongoing medical and travel expenses has created a heavy burden.

Jeff is someone who has always shown up for others—now he needs our support. Funds raised will go directly toward:

Travel expenses (gas, transportation)

Medical-related costs not covered by insurance (majority of his supplies are not covered)

Daily living expenses while his ability to work is limited

Any contribution, no matter the size, will help ease the stress during this incredibly difficult time. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page with others would mean just as much.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support for Jeff as he fights this battle.
