Recently, Jeffery was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer that affects multiple areas of the body where bone marrow is active. This diagnosis has brought unexpected challenges, including the need for treatment in both Dothan, AL and Atlanta, GA. The treatment plan will require Jeffery to spend at least two months in Atlanta, 244 miles away from home and family, to receive the care he needs. The financial burden of medical bills, travel, temporary housing, medication, and daily expenses is overwhelming for Jeffery and his loved ones. Insurance is not covering all his treatment nor medication. He is having to skip some of the treatment until he can afford it.

Jeffery is not one to ask for help and has kept his struggle private until now. We are reaching out to our community for prayers and donations to support this well-deserving man during his fight against cancer.
