Hello all,

I am long time friend of Jeffrey Baker. I am starting this fundraiser in hopes of providing some help for my dear friend and a man who in the 20 years I have known him has not only helped me turn my life around but countless others in ways and amounts that most of us can only aspire to accomplish. Jeff is a loving and caring man who will and has done whatever he is capable of to help and guide many recovering addicts and patients transform their lives and become new people and live complete, sober and full lives.

In January 2025 Jeff started to experience Intercranial seizures, Cardiac arrhythmia and tremors. He was diagnosed with a calcified spinal column. He was treated with sub sonic treatments to break up the calcification and this successful. Three weeks ago he went in for a follow up scan and was told he has a Dedifferentiated Chordoma in his brain/spinal column.

This is a rare and very aggressive subtype of chordoma characterized by the presence of a high grade sarcoma component along side the Chordoma. General prognosis is poor and many patients are given a short time to live. In Jeff's case its 90 days as of now. While we are all hopeful that he will make it longer than this, Two separate institutions including the Mayo clinic have concurred his timeline. There is no treatment available other than a surgery that has a very low success rate and will either leave him completely physically and mentality disabled or dying in surgery.

Jeff has given the last 19 years of his life to the pursuit of helping others, his professional accomplishments are as follows.

AAS Degree from GCC

Bachelors of behavioral sciences at Western International

Masters of counseling with emphasis on trauma

Currently serving as a licensed associate counselor

And has almost completed a Ph.D. in forensic psychology

Currently an executive clinical director for Changes Healing Center

He has Sponsored 487 men in their recovery and currently has 72 active men under sponsorship.

All proceeds will be going to help Jeff cover :

Ongoing medical bills, rent, living expenses, funeral expenses and not leaving his family with debt.

Jeff has spent over 70k of his own money and savings to pay for everything to this point and is now looking at loosing his home, vehicle and not being able to move forward with further medical needs. let alone feeding his family and not having the means to pay for services at end of life. All donations go dirrectly to his account .Jeff will be survived buy his Son, four Grandchildren, sister Stacey, Brother Terry , Laura Elizabeth and her two sons.

Once again this man has devoted his life, education and soul to help others and is in extreme need of help in this time.
