Donation protected
Jeffery Hummer and his family need your help.
Three years ago, Jeff suffered a severe stroke and spent a full two and a half years in hospitals and acute care centers. The cost of his care has depleted his assets, including his retirement fund. He now faces debts that cannot be met. Most recently, he owes the IRS $11,000 for a tax due on retirement funds used for his medical bills.
At the age of 19 Jeff enlisted in the US Marines and served as a reconnaissance specialist. During his service in the Marines, he participated in the rescue of US medical students from Panama and the attempted rescue of the US citizens held hostage in the embassy in Iran.
After his active service in the Marines, he took a job as a salesperson for Laird & Company, and worked there until his stroke. He also served many years in the Reserves.
Jeff is working very hard to walk again and to regain more of his speech. Sabrina, his wife of 37 years, is his fulltime care giver.
His immediate needs are for a mobilized wheel chair and the help to cover his current debts to the IRS and his care.
Please consider a donation to help Jeff and his family.
