Our family is raising funds for Jefferson, my brother-in-law, after he was taken by ICE in Anchorage, Alaska and transferred to a detention center in Tacoma, Washington. This has been an overwhelming and painful experience for our family, and we are doing everything we can to support him during this difficult time. Jefferson needs urgent legal support as we work to understand his case, help him through the immigration process, and fight to keep him from being deported.

The funds raised will go toward lawyer and immigration attorney fees, along with possible bond costs that may come up as we fight for Jefferson’s release and next steps. He is currently facing the possibility of deportation, so having legal help as quickly as possible can make a real difference for him and for our family as we try to navigate this situation.
