Hi everyone! My name is Cheryl and I am the youngest daughter of Patty and Jeff Woods. A couple weeks ago, my dad was diagnosed with an infection in his brain and body that rendered him unresponsive. By the grace of God, and modern medicine, my dad is alive and recovering. We are immensely grateful for the incredible team caring for him. As of today, 08/21, he has been in the ICU for 18 days, with still more to come. Not to mention the long rehab journey that is to follow. I have created this GoFundMe on behalf of my mom and my family as we face the financial impact of such care. It is uncomfortable to ask for help but my dad is worth it.
