Jeff was diagnosed with colorectal cancer on Dec 11th,2019. He had surgery on Jan 15th and is now undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. His last day of radiation was on April 8th. He continues to take a chemo pill as well as chemo infusion for 6 months. Once he finishes chemotherapy he will go back to Omaha for another surgery and hospital stay. There is never a good time to be diagnosed and fighting cancer but the current COVID 19 pandemic presents a whole other challenge for Jeff and his family. Jeff is among the most vulnerable in this epidemic because chemo weakens the immune system. To reduce his risk, he had to quit working. His wife Gina also had to close down her daycare business.
Personally, I can't imagine the range of emotions they are facing at this time. I ask people to pray for the Stewart family. I'm also asking that we help relieve some of their burden by helping them financially. Thank you for whatever help you can give.
