Support Jeff Stevens' family with laying him to rest.

My name is Amanda, and I am Jeff Stevens' niece. On Saturday, July 5th, my Uncle Jeff was doing one of the things he loves most; he was enjoying a beautiful day riding his motorcycle with his closest people up to the Little Grand Canyon. They were outside of Wellsboro, PA, when unfortunately, things took a terrible turn. Jeff’s bike locked up and went out from under him, causing him to wreck. My uncle sustained major life-threatening injuries. He has a broken clavicle, a collapsed lung, major road rash, and worst of all, a major head trauma. Unfortunately, he was not wearing a helmet. (Yes, as family, we all realize how much that could have changed things, but it is what it is, and we don’t care to hear your opinion on it).

Due to his critical condition, they life-flighted him to a level 1 trauma center in Sayre, PA, where he remains in critical condition. This is located 3 1/2 hours from here. His children, Mitchel and Alaina, along with others, are currently traveling this long 3 1/2-hour drive to be there with him. This is a heavy financial burden between gas, food, and hotel stays.

With Mitch and Alaina’s permission, I am starting this GoFundMe to help alleviate some of the financial burden and take something off of his plate! This is something extremely difficult for us as a family to navigate as it is, but it is a lot on Mitch. Even if it’s only a few dollars, anything will help. Mitch also wants to make sure his dad’s payments stay current, so he will be making payments for his vehicle, vehicle insurance, and storage unit. Funds will be used for those things as well.
