Help Get Jeff Back on His Feet!

Jeff Railsback, easily the best of the Jeffs, was involved in an accident on Thursday, July 10th. While biking to work, Jeff was hit by a distracted driver about a half mile from his home. Luckily, Jeff was wearing his helmet at the time of the accident, but he has sustained numerous injuries, including a broken left fibula, a broken right ankle, and a right hand injury that will require surgery. He was admitted to AHN for observation where he is staying in good spirits despite everything, as usual.

Sadly, his beloved bike, Judy, with whom he raised over $1250 during the MS 150 in June, was also involved in the accident and will likely be pedaling over the rainbow bridge.

Jeff and his wife Amy are some of the best people around and could use our help right now, though anyone who knows them knows they'd rather be doing the helping. Jeff's injuries will likely mean hospital bills as well as long-term care, as he is currently unable to walk. He'll need a new bike to look forward to riding again once he has recovered from his injuries, and there will likely be legal fees to consider. Anything that you can contribute will go directly to Jeff and Amy, to allow them to both focus on his recovery.
