Hey there friends!

Our friend Jeff Powenski needs some help! You probably know Jeff from Phish/Dead/Panic lot scenes. He runs a double booth conveniece store on lot and has been a fixture on Shakedown for over 25 years. Whatever you need, Jeff is your man. He is always down to help out, usually one of the first vendors on lot and one of the last to break down. Unfortunately, he missed most of summer tour and won't be at any fall shows this year.

Jeff has recently been diagnosed with bone cancer. He also has a mass on his kidney that needs a biopsy ASAP. Jeff is staying at a campground 25 miles away from the hospital with no running vehicle. He is not allowed to work or drive per doctor's orders. He needs an apartment or housing that is closer to the hospital so that he can be picked up by the hospital shuttle. He'll need money for bills and food, and clothing. Jeff has applied for SSD, but that takes a while and he has SNAP benefits for only another month.

Jeff has no family to speak of, just his friend family from tour. He wanted me to add a huge thank you to the all the folks that helped get him through the summer. Jeff landed in Fort Wayne, Indiana, that's where he is looking to live and get treatment. If anyone knows of housing or other possible assistance please reach out to Jeff!
