Support Jeff Luck's funeral expense.

My name is Jennifer Mattingly. I am helping set up this fundraiser for my childhood friend, Krisie Rouse Luck. Many of you personally know her yourselves, and her husband, Jeff Luck, of Owensboro, Kentucky.
He has been living with rheumatoid arthritis for many years with treatments in the past but had not been able to keep up with all treatments due to expenses. In early May, he started having such difficulty breathing he had to call an ambulance to get him. His life was changed forever that day. He was diagnosed with Pulmonary fibrosis, secondary to his rheumatoid arthritis. It's described as web type matter or scarring filling the lungs. His diagnosis was so extreme that he had to be on the highest levels of oxygen and the doctors told him he would need a lung transplant to even survive. He went home briefly only to end up back in the emergency room then ICU with infection and pneumonia. He has not been home since and things have escalated very fast. The hospital decided to fly him to the University of Louisville ICU transplant surgery unit to try to speed up his chances of getting a lung transplant. We do not know how long he has before he will have to be put on a ventilator. If that happens, he wouldn't have the chance to be taken back off of it.
Everything has escalated so fast with him not being able to work at all they have gotten behind on all their bills and rent.
He supports his wife, Krisie. She is an RN, but has been unable to work for the past several years due to damage to her neck and back from working in health care. She has had several surgeries and has been working on getting disability with much difficulty. So they are left with no income or any assistance right now.
Since the rent is delinquent, it is the main and final deciding factor on him receiving a lung transplant. Without a home for them to come home to, they are hesitant to do this life-saving surgery for him.
If you are able to help with costs for his medical expenses and for his wife to stay with him in Louisville with surgery could be up to a year there. Or sadly if he doesn't get the transplant they do not have funds for any type of after-life arrangements or medical expenses accrued to date. All money donated will be going to Krisie's mother, Connie Rouse, to pay for any expenses due to this tragic circumstance.
Jeff has gotten baptized while in the hospital because he couldn't remember if he had gotten baptized as a child. He has a new outlook on life and is wanting to get involved in church with Krisie and her mother. He deserves another chance to live to hopefully thrive and help others in his future. Hopefully, his friends and family can help or get some other fundraisers going. Anything to help would be much appreciated. Here is Krisie's direct email and number if you can offer any assistance outside of monetary through this fundraiser.
