Hi, my name is Jason Carter, and I’m reaching out on behalf of someone who has spent decades giving to others — now, it’s our turn to give back to him.

Jeff Labansky has been a beloved member of the music community for several decades. He’s not only a gifted musician and songwriter, but also a generous soul and a truly kind-hearted human being. Over the years, Jeff has poured his heart into his music, performing not just for the love of it, but often to help others — playing benefit concerts, supporting fellow musicians, and lifting up everyone around him.

Today, Jeff is facing one of the biggest challenges of his life — a serious and complex medical condition that is still unfolding. Most urgently, doctors have discovered a tumor on his prostate that needs to be removed soon. While there are still many unknowns, this next step in his care is critical, and the road ahead will likely include further testing, treatment, and recovery.

Through it all, Jeff remains incredibly strong, positive, and hopeful. As he often says, this is just another verse in the song — and he fully intends to write the next one with determination and grace.

As a songwriter, Jeff knows that every great song has its highs and lows — moments of tension, heartbreak, and resolve. Life, like music, doesn’t always follow a predictable melody. Sometimes the verses are heavy, the bridge feels uncertain — but the chorus can bring hope, strength, and redemption. Jeff is in a difficult chapter right now, but this isn’t the end of the song. With our help, he’ll write a triumphant next verse.
