Supporting Jeff Lind & Kathryn Renta Through Jeff's Cancer Treatment

Our beloved friend Jeff Lind is going through a difficult season after being diagnosed with esophageal cancer. He’s currently in treatment, focusing all of his energy on healing. If you know Jeff, you know the zest and vigor with which he lives, as well as his love language – showing up for others without question. Jeff’s humor and determination to heal is serving him well. Now, he and his partner Kathryn Renta could use that same energy and support from all of us.

Why We’re Reaching Out

Jeff’s treatment schedule and its physical demands mean that both he and Kathryn have had to step away from work. Kathryn is with him every day—driving him to appointments, helping manage his care, and being the steady presence he relies on. With both of them pausing work, their household income has taken a significant hit just as their expenses have grown.

Even with insurance, there is a significant shortfall in what’s covered. Medical bills, daily living costs, and the unexpected expenses that come with serious illness have created a financial strain that no one should have to face alone.
