Hi, my name is Jeffrey Hunter, most people looking at this probably know me for playing basketball at Keene State College. It has been such an honor to represent Keene State College and the Keene community over the past 5 years. My experience has been one that I will cherish forever and pray that other student-athletes get an opportunity to be welcomed with open arms to such a tremendous environment. I’ve spent countless hours dedicating my time to become the best version of myself to perform at a high level for my team, school, and community. All great things come to an end, but then the next chapter begins. With that being said, I have been granted an opportunity to play on a U23 USA basketball team in Melilla, Spain from June 21st-27th. Over the course of that week not only will I be representing myself to continue my career professionally, but also the United States, and most importantly KSC and the community that helped turn me into the player/person that I am today. Our team will play Spain, Germany, and Czech Republic’s National teams. In order to play in this tournament I will have to come out of pocket $3,000 for travel. Typically I am not one to ask for help from others, but as I am just graduating from school and don’t have a steady income to fund my professional career, I figured I would ask for some help to fund this experience. I understand this money could be donated to a greater cause than my professional career but during these times I would be grateful for any help from people that have supported me over my career in high school or at Keene State College.
