Jeff's Fight Against Aggressive Diffuse Large BCell Lymphoma

Story

After several trips to the ER and numerous tests, Jeff has not been to work since April 23rd. He has worked for the same company for 39 years. Jeff has been diagnosed with Aggressive Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma Stage 3. He is currently undergoing treatment at Northwestern Medicine Kishwaukee in DeKalb, IL. Jeff has been married to his wife Jenny for 32 years. He has a daughter, Jessica, and four beautiful granddaughters, Brooklyn, Millie, Elsie, and Brinley. He has spent his whole life putting his family first. Jeff is one of the hardest working people we know and slowing down has not come easy for him. Currently with the cancer, the chemo treatments and physical therapy that he is receiving will help him gain his strength and mobility back. He is currently on short-term disability through his employer, which has significantly reduced his income. Unfortunately, his employer has decided to change insurance companies in the middle of his chemo treatments, which has added further uncertainty to his financial situation. Jeff has a long road ahead of him and he will use the money donated to pay co-pays, monthly bills, traveling to DeKalb for chemo treatments and anything the insurance refuses to pay. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated and will help offset the expenses the Gerard family will incur.
