Support Jeff Crosson's Road to Recovery

Hello friends - Last week (05/28/24) my brother Jeff Crosson was the victim of a terrible road rage incident in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

After a difference of opinion on the road, Jeff was exiting his truck at a local restaurant (Slim Chickens) when this other driver intentionally slammed his sedan into Jeff, pinning him between the two vehicles. He was hit with such force, it instantly severed his right leg, among other injuries, as well as totaling Jeff's truck.

The other driver fled the scene, but thanks to the quick reactions from a Slim Chickens employee who witnessed this horrible ordeal, and a local law enforcement officer, they were able to create a tourniquet with their belts so he could be transported to the hospital where he was rushed into life-saving surgery.

It has been a very tough week, but we are beyond grateful to announce that Jeff is alive and out of the ICU! He has already undergone multiple surgeries and while they were not able to reattach his leg, he is here with us and in good spirits!

We are truly thankful for the strangers that rushed to his side and to the medical staff at St. Francis Hospital, in Tulsa.

Many of you know Jeff, but for those of you who don't, he is a stranger who becomes an instant friend. He exudes kindness and would help anyone willingly and without hesitation. He was a truck driver for PODS, and I'm certain each person he interacted with on a daily basis, he brightened their day.

He is surrounded by his amazing family - his wife, Wendy, their two adult children, Kylie and Max, and grandson, Reid - who have dropped everything to be with him at the hospital.

My family and I have created this GoFundMe because we are learning that Jeff has a long road ahead of him, with a lot of expenses that will fall outside of his insurance - from the type of prosthetics he will need, as well as intense physical therapy. We are hoping to help assist Jeff and his family in this trying time. We have never done a GoFundMe before, but have helped support other families during challenging times and this seemed like the right situation.

We appreciate those who have reached out and offered to help. We appreciate you keeping Jeff and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

This past week has served as a reminder to our family to treasure life with your loved ones and to be safe on the road.

Thank you all!
