Help Support Jeff Bowe – West Genesee’s Beloved Set Builder & Painter

For more than 15 years, Jeff Bowe has been the heart and hands behind the beautiful sets that bring West Genesee musicals to life. From WGIS/WGMS to CMS and now WGHS, Jeff’s creativity and dedication have filled our stages with magic and brought joy to thousands of students, families, and community members.

On September 8th, Jeff suddenly fell ill. Doctors discovered a large mass in his brain, and after receiving excellent care at Crouse Hospital, he underwent emergency brain surgery on September 12th. Thanks to a miraculous recovery, Jeff was able to return home on September 16th.

While we are beyond thankful for his progress, Jeff will not be able to fulfill his commitments to the CMS, WGIS, and WGHS musicals this season. This means he has lost a significant source of income, making it difficult to cover his everyday expenses. His ability to travel is also limited as he continues his recovery.

Now it’s our turn to support someone who has given so much to us. We are asking for donations to help replace the income Jeff would have earned from the 2025/26 musicals and to ease his financial burden during this unexpected and challenging time.
