On Sunday October 12th our oldest brother, Jeff Battersby (64) had a stroke. He is currently at Vassar Hospital in upstate New York getting the care he needs… he will be moving to acute rehab for a couple of weeks to relearn how to walk, work on getting his voice back, and getting healthy again.

If you know Jeff- you love him. He is a healthy (YOUNG) guy who has never stopped doing the things he loves in life. He’s a dad, husband, sibling, child and loyal friend. He’s also funny as heck… when his jokes land:) He also has a bi-weekly podcast that is yet another passion he pursues. He’s also very active- playing soccer every week and hiking on the regular.

Jeff owns his own business, and is a bar manager, writer and theater director and actor. He works tirelessly- and now he must stop all of that- to heal.

We are asking for help with his monthly expenses for the next 5 months. Please know he hates that we are doing this- but I know that helping feels good to the helper- and helps to heal the receiver.

Please give what you can. Every dollar will help him to stay afloat during this time.
