Update 7/17/26: Last night Jeff and I took Isis to the Mayfair Animal Hospital and ER for another procedure to drain her ear’s hematoma. She is on gabapentin and a steroid now. And, while she is doing seemingly a little better, she’s an elder cat and not out of the woods yet.

Any funds raised will go towards any additional care Isis may need, and to help Jeff pay off the already over $900 spent to get Isis the necessary treatments to keep her as comfortable as possible.

To say that Jeff is Isis’ person and that she is their girl is a huge understatement. The love and adoration these two beans have for each other is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever witnessed. The love of a cat is a special, special thing.

Jeff, Isis, and I appreciate all y’all. Thank you for sharing, donating, supporting, helping, and loving us. We are very lucky!

My wonderful partner Jeff is a Cat-Parent to a sweet, cute, sassy old lady named Isis. Isis was diagnosed with a large hematoma on her left ear on Monday at Mayfair Animal Hospital and ER. While she was treated, we were forewarned that, while the hematoma was drained and treated, there would be a high possibility that it would return. And, sadly, it has. Which means a couple of things: another drainage treatment and, if that fails, surgery.

This is scary because Isis is 17 years old and, while her health isn’t failing, it does put her at extra risk.

Jeff is one of the most loving and caring people I know. A cat person through and through and Isis’ main human. They are a bonded pair, if you will.

If you are able to donate to help fund Isis’ care and treatment, Jeff would so appreciate it! As would Isis! As would I!
