It is with an extremely heavy heart that I share this news with you all. On Friday 1/3/24 around 8pm Jedi was hit by a speeding SUV on Willy Street. The driver took off and did not stop, Jedi was left unconscious in the street.

With the grace and selflessness of some good samaritans that saw everything, they put Jedi in the back of their car, I jumped in with him and we rushed to the emergency vet.

After stabilization and emergency interventions, Jedi was transferred last night to another facility for further treatment. He was being monitored for neurological and pulmonary herniation. He has a fractured tooth, an eye hemorrhage, concussion, and many facial lacerations.

He has a long road to recovery ahead of him for the next few weeks. With this all happening while I am on maternity leave, it leaves us to pay for his medical expenses and medication on our one and only income. Truly, anything helps. We are just hoping and praying that our sweet Jedi gets back to his old self as soon as possible❤️‍
