Jeb was diagnosed with NASH Cirrhosis (non-alcoholic steatohepatitis) in September of 2020. Since this time, Jeb has been undergoing care and treatment at CPMC in San Francisco although he resides in Eureka California. Recently, he had to be transferred down to CPMC for ongoing dialysis while he awaits a liver transplant. Although Jeb is currently on the transplant list, a liver has not yet been identified. During these almost 5 years, his wife Cheyenne is always by his side, despite also working a full-time remote job to provide for their family. Prior to Jeb's illness he worked in security and has always been a hard-working family man. Cheyenne and Jeb have two boys that are now young adults; during their childhood Jeb loved supporting his kids and the community by coaching multiple sports teams for the youth of Humboldt County. During these last almost 5 challenging years, Cheyenne and Jeb have never asked for help and are reluctant to do so now. However, the time has come to reach out for help as ongoing expenses for things like, food, lodging, travel expenses, and everything in between continue to surmount. Those who know Jeb and his family, know that they are kind, proud, hard working individuals that always go above and beyond for those around them. Now it's time we do the same for them. I can't put into words the profound strength and love of this family. It is both admirable and beautiful despite ongoing pain and emotional turmoil. Anyone who knows them can very much attest to this, so please contribute anything you can, big or small; it is all appreciated. Please also send all the love and prayers during this difficult time. Thank you all for your support and kindness.
Update: On Mothers Day 2025 Jeb received a liver transplant and is currently recovering in the ICU at CPMC. This is the beginning of a one month stay in San Francisco and a long recovery. Thank you all
