I was surprised in June with a large lump in my right breast, having had no other symptoms but a sizable weight loss. It had metastasized into my lungs, my lymph nodes and a couple other tissues! It’s so strange when you think you have all the time in the world even at 75 yrs old. But I have had very serious medical challenges since 1984 when first diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease and many more near scrapes!! So who’s to say I won’t be around for many more years!!!

I am telling you, my friends and family, not for pity or sympathy but to ask for your prayers and support. Due to my fixed income, I can't afford the copays and additional costs of things to ease the intensity of chemo. If you are able to make any contribution to help me pay those expenses, it would be an incredible way to make this battle a little more doable. Any amount would mean the world to me and my family!
