In Loving Memory of Jean Jordan

Update February 21st, 2024:

This is the hardest, and most heart breaking update I have ever had to write..

It is with a heavy heart that I share - Jean lost her battle on Tuesday February 11th, 2024.

I am still raising funds in memory of a truly remarkable woman who touched so many lives, and your support means the world to us. Please consider donating and sharing to help with expenses of losing a loved one, and to ease the financial burden for Dave, Jean's husband during this difficult time.

I will also be doing a sweepstakes drawing to help raise money. To contact me for more ways to help, or any questions. Please feel free to reach out.

Thank you for your kindness and love.

In Loving Memory of Jean Jordan

Thank You and God Bless,
Kelsey Peters

Everyone has or had someone in their lives that mean the world to them- a family member, friend, loved one. Who care, support and love you undoubtedly, with every ounce they have. My Mamaw (Jean Jordan), is one of mine. She has supported and loved me (Kelsey Peters) throughout my whole life, and continues to love and support me, my husband Chance, and our three beautiful daughters- who Jean's world revolves around. <3 Chasing them, following them to sports, concerts, camping and fishing, anything they do no matter how big or small is one of her favorite things to do.

Unfortunately, a medical issue has arose. At this time we would not like to disclose specifics as medical we feel is a more private matter. What I will say is that the past few months have been filled with emotion, testing, dr visits and news that was not good.

As many of you know, anything medical comes with doctor visits, monitoring and treatments of one kind or another. That while living in a remote area, (90 miles one way) makes it more challenging with many many miles, travel days, possible hotel stays, hospital stays, medical bills, and more costs that can be so unpredictable.

With news that would shake anyone, Jean is still the one striving to care and comfort others. A Grandmother/Great-Grandmother heart is in a category on its own, and Jean certainly exemplifies that. She is someone who would give the shirt off her back to anyone in a bind, she has truly went above and beyond for everyone she is able to do so for while never expecting or asking for a single thing in return. She is by far one of the kindest souls I have ever known and looked up to.

On behalf of both Dave and Jean - we (myself, husband and daughters) would appreciate any type of donation of those who feel compelled to help with the financial burden. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated, and will not go unnoticed.

If you are not able make a donation, we would appreciate any prayers and support that will undoubtedly be needed in the next several months, more than you know. Thank you for any donations, big or small, thoughts, prayers, kind words, encouraging thoughts while we navigate this crazy thing we call life.

God Bless. XOXO
