Support Jean's Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer
Donation protected
Jean (Carpenter) Gerhart has recently been diagnosed with Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma Cancer. Traditional treatment options offered to her did not have promising outcomes. They included Chemotherapy, a dangerous and invasive surgery, plus radiation.
Jean has decided to take an alternative path to healing.
She is currently traveling to Envita Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ, for treatment. She will have a CIPI (Chemo Immuno Precision Injection) Procedure. This treatment would inject her tumor with chemo, cut off the tumor's blood supply, and boost her immune system. Unfortunately, this treatment is not covered by insurance and all costs will be out of pocket. This treatment will cost anywhere from $22,000 to $50,000, depending on how many injections are needed, plus housing and travel expenses.
Jean has dedicated her life to her family and to the children in DeKalb County, IN. She was a school bus driver for over 40 years and loved those she served and those she worked with. Jean and her husband, Larry, still reside in Indiana, near Auburn. She is a loving sister, mother, aunt, and, the role she loves most, Grandma.
Please consider helping Jean and her family with this financial burden. If unable to donate, please keep Jean and her family in your prayers.
