Help Jeannette Heal – Ovarian Cancer Support Fund
Jeannette is the heart and soul of her family, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who has always put others first. At 74, she’s faced more than her fair share of challenges, but nothing could have prepared her or her loved ones for her recent diagnosis: ovarian cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes.
Just before Thanksgiving, Jeannette underwent a major surgery to have a port placed and a colostomy bag added. The doctors discovered a 40 centimeter mass that has attached to her colon and surrounding areas. She’s now preparing to begin chemotherapy, and will soon face a major surgery to remove the mass, lymph nodes, and ovaries. The journey ahead is daunting, and the financial strain during this time is significant.
Jeannette’s story is one of resilience and unconditional love. As a single mother of four boys, she worked three jobs to provide for her family, never complaining and always showing up for every game, recital, and family milestone. Her dream has always been to take her sons to Japan, to share with them the culture and heritage that means so much to her. This dream—and her commitment to providing for her family—is why she has continued to work so hard all these years, determined to pay her bills and reach her lifelong goals.
If you know Jeannette, you know she’s the first to offer help—whether it’s a hot meal, a comforting word, or simply being there when you need her most. She’s an empath who feels deeply for others and gives selflessly, never asking for anything in return.
Now, Jeannette needs our help. With her FMLA exhausted and unable to return to work, she faces growing medical and everyday expenses. The financial stress is a heavy burden at a time when her focus should be on healing and recovery.
Let’s come together as a community to support a woman who has given so much to so many. Every donation, big or small, will help Jeannette breathe a little easier and focus on her recovery. Let’s show her that she is not alone on this journey and that all the love she’s poured into the world is coming back to lift her up.
Thank you for any support you can give – it means the world to Jeannette and her family.
