Support Jeannette Scholer After Fire Loss

I am Rev. Kirk Winslow, Pastor of Canvas Presbyterian Church in Irvine, CA, and I am one of the hundreds of pastors, scholars, seminarians, and friends who have been immeasurably blessed by the Scholer family over their decades of service to the church and the larger community.

A small group of us who live locally are working rapidly to get Jeannette back on her feet after the devastating loss of her home in the Eaton Fire that struck Altadena, CA in recent days.

The good news is that Jeanette is insured and the process of filing her claim has begun. Reality, however, is that she faces a variety of immediate costs for which she does not have the resources.

Our goal is to get this beloved saint into stable housing in what is now a chaotic and very expensive market and to set her up with the fundamental tools she needs to carry on the Scholer family ministry of mentorship, music and hospitality.
