Support Jeanne and Kris: Hurricane Helene Relief

My name is Raven McKnight. I grew up in Swannanoa, currently live in Minnesota, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my grandmother, Jeanne Soriano, and uncle, Kris Weil.

My grandmother’s neighborhood in Swannanoa was hit incredibly hard by Hurricane Helene. Kris was in the house with three dogs when the floodwaters hit. He was swept into the floodwater and escaped with one of the dogs, but my grandmother’s house and Kris’ van were destroyed by the flood. They lost their home, all of their belongings, and two beloved dogs. This fund will support them as they rebuild their lives following the disaster.
