Support JeanMarie's Renewed Battle with Cancer

In Spring of 2022, JeanMarie Catanzano was diagnosed with breast cancer like TOO many other Women we all know and love. Determined and courageous, she has fought through surgery, chemo and radiation. She has treasured these past two years of her life with her cancer behind her, however this past week we learned that her cancer has returned and JeanMarie's fight continues.

A craniotomy was performed successfully this weekend removing the tumor from her cerebellum. JeanMarie is still in ICU at Penn Medicine in Philly with no feeling or strength in her left arm and leg. This second chapter of her battle with cancer post surgery will once again include chemo, radiation and will now include physical therapy to help her learn to stand/walk again. By her side and holding her hand are her amazing children Thomas(Paramus Catholic ’21/Arizona State '25) and Morgan(Ridgewood HS ’23/Babson College '27), her brother Tim and his fiancé Jen, their extended family, friends, and the incredible medical professionals at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. On behalf of JeanMarie she would like to extend her gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers.

We are still waiting for a long term prognosis, but we know that in the short term she will not be able to work, drive, or perform everyday tasks that we may take for granted. She feels incredibly lucky to have maintained her cognitive skills, speech, taste/smell, wit and sense of humor after brain surgery. Hearing and seeing this first-hand, I asked JeanMarie to put her pride-aside and if I may reach out to our community and set up a Go Fund Me to assist her financially.

So, here I am asking with a heavy heart for you to consider donating to help with everyday living expenses and medical bills. This will allow JeanMarie to focus on treatment and provide for herself and her children without additional financial pressure.
