On March 26, 2026, I welcomed our precious daughter, Jeanlle'Grace, into the world. Our joy quickly turned to worry when we learned she had suffered a birth injury—a broken left collarbone—and was diagnosed with cerebral palsy affecting her left arm. Since then, our days have been filled with doctor visits, sleepless nights, and prayers for her healing. Insurance only covers a limited number of X-rays, but Jeanlle'Grace needs two or more X-rays every month to make sure her collarbone is healing properly. Each set of X-rays is an out-of-pocket expense, which is a heavy burden for our family since I am not working and my husband is the sole provider. Even with the sleepless nights my heart breaks for our sweet girl. Specialist say it will take over a year to heal. Appointments after appointments: From one X-Ray to another (a lot of radiation through such a tiny body), neurology checks, blood work, occupational therapy, and physical therapy.
