For more than 30 years, Jeanie has been more than a talented hairdresser at Chelsea Salon & Spa—she has been a friend, a confidant, and a bright spot in the lives of countless clients and coworkers. Through her dedication and hard work, she built a life she is proud of while raising an incredible daughter, Desiree, who also works alongside the Chelsea family.

Recently, Jeanie's life changed in an instant when she suffered a stroke that affected her dominant side. Thanks to a successful surgery, she is now working tirelessly in inpatient rehabilitation at Archbold Hospital in Thomasville. Her determination has been inspiring, but the road to recovery is expected to be long, and there are still many unknowns—including whether she will be able to return to the career she has loved for so many years.

Throughout this journey, Desiree has been by Jeanie's side every step of the way, encouraging her, advocating for her, and helping her stay hopeful. As they begin planning for the future, it has become clear that Jeanie will need to move closer to Desiree so she can receive the care and support she'll need during her recovery.

Unfortunately, this event not only takes both a physical and emotional toll—it brings an overwhelming financial burden. Medical expenses continue to grow, and preparing Jeanie's current home for sale will require necessary repairs and updates. On top of that come the costs of moving and creating a safe, accessible home where she can continue healing.
