Hi - my name is Jazmine and I’m raising funds for my mom Jeanette Wiese.

In January of 2023 my mom was diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma – Stage 4 Lung Cancer non-small cell, she is not and has never been a smoker - but if you have lungs you can get lung cancer. It had spread to her rib, liver, and some of her lymph nodes.

Thankfully after the first line of treatment the cancer only remained in her lung.

Since then she has had several different treatments - targeted oral treatment (tagrisso), chemotherapy(carboplatin and pemetrexed), immunotherapy (keytruda), and most recently rybrevant in combination with pemetrexed.

Her most recent regimen has had some pretty significant side effects - blood clots in both legs and her lungs that she is still trying to get rid of, small strokes and/or seizures, and there could be progression to her brain - MRI of the Brain will be repeated next month to determine.

Right now we are waiting on some recent blood work to come back to see if her mutation has changed or if it’s the same.

Our hopes is that it’s the same and she can go back to Tagrisso but just double the dosage, since it worked the best.

With these side effects she’s recently been inpatient twice and having to take a lot of additional expensive medications.

She isn’t someone to ask for any help - but recently people have been asking how they can, so I decided to create this fund. It will help her pay medical bills and for ongoing treatment costs.

She is a fighter - but some battles aren’t meant to be fought alone. Love you mom!
