Support Jeanet Ingalls: From Homelessness to Hope
Donation protected
Jeanet Ingalls is currently homeless and in dire need of help. She is a talented Berkshire artist and activist whose tragic early life has led to difficult mid-life challenges. She was born in the Philippines and sexually trafficked as a small child. At age 8 she was adopted by U.S. missionaries and brought home to Lenox, Massachusetts, where she attended local schools and later raised her own children.
Jeanet studied art at Parsons School of Design in New York, and her powerful paintings have been exhibited regionally. She became a personal trainer and fitness instructor, but her heart was always devoted to helping other survivors of sex trafficking.
Jeanet has long been an advocate for other sex trafficking survivors. She formed a nonprofit, Shout Out Loud Productions, with the goal of creating a documentary on child sex trafficking. She organized a Sex Trafficking Summit and organized and led trainings on how to identify and report sex trafficking.
After many years of being a productive and generous community
member and mother of two, Jeanet’s life has taken a dramatic downturn; her past trauma and current PTSD have created significant life challenges. Today, Jeanet is unhoused and in dire need of help. In response to this need, a group of her friends have launched this GoFundMe campaign to offer much-needed support.
Please, friends and neighbors of Jeanet, embrace a member of our community who is in deep need. All funds will be managed by "Friends of Jeanet," the organizers of this GoFundMe account, and 100% of the funds shall go directly to obtaining the services and help Jeanet needs. If you prefer to send a check, please contact an organizer for details. Thank you!
