Support Jean Garcia: Overcoming Unjust Accusations

My name is John Lapper and yesterday Jean Garcia at the Simi Auto Spa and Speed Wash was helping a customer who forgot his wallet and had no id, cash or credit card. The customer said he could give him the credit card number as he had it memorized. The transaction was done but the customer decided to change to a monthly car wash plan. Jean voided the transaction and decided to take a picture of the transaction so he could re-enter for the new charge. The customer freaked out at the unfortunate choice Jean made by taking the picture. Jean was obviously shaken and allowed the customer to erase the photo from his phone. The customer got his car washed and phoned for a manager. He was told the manager would call him back. When the customer didn't hear back from management the customer went immediately to social media, posted Jean's picture, mocked his haircut and said Jean stole his credit card number with intent to commit credit card fraud and warned others to watch out for him. The employee was humiliated and very upset and in tears. I got involved, got the other side of the story and the Simi Auto Spa took appropriate action resolving the matter. There was no credit card fraud or intent to do so. Jean is an excellent 5 year employee. I starting this fund to show that many of us care and hopefully a little cash will right the wrong, ease the humiliation and pain and this rush to judgement that caused Jean the grief. Thank you.
