Hello Everyone, I am reaching out for a little help with our horse, Jazmine Leo Jett, Who Was recently admitted to the Upstate Equine Medical Center on Tuesday, March 10th with Colic. Very early Wednesday morning her team of vets re-did her CBC panel as she had a non-product night and results showed that her White blood cell count tanked, however they were normal upon intake. They immediately hooked her up IV fluids. We are patiently waiting for Jazz's lab test results to come back from Cornell as we do believe there is something else underlying to cause her to be not feeling good. Depending on the test results, she could possibly need more treatment and longer stay at the hospital. She has a wonderful team of vets and we are so thankful that she is in the best possible hands.

Jazz is not just a horse to us. She is family. My daughter has been riding horses since she could sit up on her own, her Mema and Poppie have horses so she has been lucky enough to grow up riding and learning and soaking in all the knowledge. I bought Jazz when my daughter was 10 years old. She has taught my daughter confidence and to believe in herself. Jazz is more than just a mount, she's my daughter's soulmate in a saddle. They move as one and anticipate each other's moves. This Mare is worth her weight in Gold and I couldn't have asked God for a better first horse for my daughter. She's a Once in a Lifetime Horse That We Have Been So Blessed With. She's our Heart Horse and We would do anything to make her feel better. Sadly we just lost our beautiful thoroughbred 4 days prior to Jazz's colic. So we are emotionally overwhelmed and financially beaten down. We were quoted this could go upwards of $3000 and any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly to Jazz's medical bill and recovery.
