Hi friends. My name is Jazz, and I am a lifelong cat lover, foster parent, rescue volunteer, and professional cat sitter with nearly two decades of hands-on experience caring for cats from all walks of life. And now, I’m building something I’ve dreamed about for years: Cats With Jazz, LLC.

But before any of that, there was Stripie.

She was my first rescue cat, my childhood companion, and the one who opened my heart to what it really means to love and care for an animal. Stripie taught me about trust, patience, and communication without words. That bond planted the seed for everything that followed.

Many years later, that seed grew into a calling. I began volunteering in rescue, fostering cats with medical needs, behavioral challenges, and traumatic pasts. I’ve bottle-fed newborns, sat quietly with the grieving, medicated the reluctant, and loved the overlooked. I learned to listen to what cats were telling me, even when no one else could hear them.

Somewhere along the way, I realized this wasn’t just something I loved doing. It was something I was meant to do.

Today, I run Cats With Jazz, an in-home cat sitting business designed specifically with feline needs in mind. My care is rooted in compassion, science, and a deep respect for cats as individuals. I’m a certified professional pet sitter, certified in feline CPR and First Aid, a member of national pet sitting organizations, and training to be a Fear-Free Certified Pet Professional.

But this is just the beginning.

With your support, I’m officially launching Cats With Jazz as a licensed, insured, and bonded LLC. Your donation will help cover the foundational costs needed to take this passion to the next level, including app development, licensing and legal requirements, branding and education materials, client support systems, and everything it takes to run a small business built on integrity and care.

My mission is to set a new standard in the pet care industry, one that centers the unique emotional, behavioral, and physical needs of cats. I want to show that cat sitting isn’t just a gig. It’s a responsibility. An art. A science. A relationship.

I want to be a trusted voice in the feline care world. A teacher. A support system. Someone that people can turn to when they don’t know what to do, or when they want to do better for their cat. I want to challenge outdated norms and help more people understand the richness and depth of feline companionship.
