Hi everyone,

I’m writing this on behalf of my friend Jasmine, who is going through an incredibly challenging time.

For the past 53 days, Jasmine has been in the hospital, dealing with a series of severe health issues. She suffered a collapsed lung, and doctors also discovered a hole in her esophagus, leading to three major surgeries. She is still in the hospital, taking things day by day.

Jasmine is also a severe diabetic, which has added another layer of complexity to her recovery. On top of all this, she was four and a half months pregnant with a baby she deeply wanted, and sadly, she lost the baby when the heart stopped beating.

Before all of this, Jasmine was working and supporting herself. She used her savings to cover her rent for the first month in the hospital, but now another month is coming up, and she hasn’t been able to work, so she’s at risk of losing her home.

We’re trying to make sure Jasmine has a safe place to return to once she’s discharged, so she can continue healing without the stress of homelessness.
