I’ve gone back and forth about posting this because asking for help is so hard for me but we but when it comes to my child, pride doesn’t matter. First let me say Thank you for loving my girl. Thank you for standing with us. We are holding onto faith and believing this door is opening for a reason. If you know me, you know I will fight to the ends of the earth for my children. I will advocate, research, pray, push, and never stop. But sometimes fighting means admitting you can’t do it alone.

Many of you have followed Jazmynn’s journey over the years, and our family is so incredibly grateful for the love, prayers, and support from this amazing community. We truly feel blessed to have so many people walking beside us through every challenge.

We recently received an update from Duke University’s Pediatric Cellular Therapy Team about an opportunity for Jazmynn. Duke has amended their Expanded Access Protocol to allow certain patients to receive an unrelated donor cord blood infusion through the Carolina Cord Blood Bank at Duke.

This treatment could open a new door for Jazmynn, but there is a major hurdle. While Duke does not charge for the donor cord blood unit itself, the Expanded Access Protocol fee is $15,000, which must be paid upfront before the infusion can even be scheduled. Unfortunately, Duke is no longer able to offer payment plans, discounts, or bill insurance for this program.
As her mom, that number feels heavy… but not heavier than watching your child struggle and wishing you could fix it yourself.

Right now we are beginning the process of submitting medical records and hoping Jazmynn meets the strict criteria to move forward with the infusion.

Potential benefits they hope to see include:
1. Brain repair and communication
• Stem cells may help reduce inflammation in the brain.
• They may support damaged brain cells and help them communicate better.

2. Developmental improvements
Some children in similar studies have shown improvements in:
• Speech and communication
• Motor skills (walking, balance, coordination)
• Attention and learning
• Social interaction

3. Reduced inflammation
Cord blood cells release substances that can calm inflammation in the brain, which may allow the brain to function better.

I would give anything to carry this for her. Since I can’t, I’m asking for help. If you feel led to give, we are beyond grateful. If you can’t donate, please share this. Please pray. Please help us get her story in front of someone who can help.

Every share matters more than you know.
Every prayer gives us strength.
Every dollar brings her closer to a chance.

Even if you are unable to donate, sharing this is just as important. We are trying to reach people outside of our local Richmond Hill community so Jazmynn’s story can reach as many hearts as possible.

Thank you to everyone who has stood with us, prayed for us, and followed Jazmynn’s journey. Your kindness and support mean more to our family than words could ever express.

Please keep Jazmynn in your prayers as we take this next step and hope for another chance to help her.
