Hi, my name is Jazmin and I’m 17 years old. I’m reaching out for help because I really need a car and I don’t have the money to get one on my own right now. I’m doing my best to stay on top of school & hopefully earn a scholarship between both of my volleyball leagues. A car will also allow me to prepare for my future and hopefully get a job. Without a car everything just feels so out of reach; public transportation where I live is limited, if even available and relying on others is not always possible. I am being raised by a single mom who does what she can to help me, but she also has to work and has other kids and a grandchild that she needs to be available for. I would love to be able to work go to school on my own and make it to my own volleyball games , see my friends while also gaining my own independence. I would need reliable transportation to make that happen. I don’t take this lightly; asking for help is hard, but if you’re able to support me in anyway, even by sharing this, it would mean the world to me.
