Hi everyone!
My name is Jessica and I’m running this GoFundMe in honor of two of my best friends, Jazmin and Bobby. On Tuesday, September 23rd, Jaz went in for her 34-week appointment to check on their baby, Chloe. While at the appointment, Jazmin’s doctors noticed her blood pressure was a little higher than they like to see. This resulted in having to go over to the hospital to be monitored. Once we arrived there, the hospital staff became increasingly concerned as her blood pressure continued to rise. They diagnosed her quickly with preeclampsia and began the routine bloodwork to ensure both girls' safety. At this point, we knew that Jazmin and Bobby would not be leaving without their little bundle of joy. Once bloodwork came back, the average monitoring turned critical very quickly. Jaz was diagnosed with HELLP syndrome, which can be life-threatening for mom and baby. They began to prep Jazmin for an emergency C-section. Due to the conditions she was dealing with, Chloe was born at 34w 2d at 5:33, weighing 4lbs 4oz, and Jazmin began the fight for her life. After a very scary 20 hours, Jazmin stabilized and was able to be reunited with her baby and Bobby. Chloe is just as strong as her mom and doing really well. This is the beginning of a very long road ahead for this new family. I’m raising money for them to be able to solely focus on getting both girls back to their best health. The money raised will go directly to Jazmin and Bobby and will go towards any needs they have during their lengthy hospital stay. Things such as gas to travel back and forth as needed, food, and towards bills as they’re both currently out of work while Jazmin recovers. Nobody deserves to fight the battle of leaving your wife and baby to return to work to keep things flowing smoothly. If you are unable to donate, please spread the word and continue to pray for a full recovery for both girls. If you do not want to donate to the GoFundMe but would like to help, gift cards, gas cards, and anything else can always be utilized. Just reach out directly to Jess. We will continue to update on both girls and have no doubt their strength will continue to shine through.
