Support Jayson's Long Road to Recovery

On February 28th, tragedy struck for the Christenson family. Jayson suffered a significant brain bleed while he was working and was transported via helicopter to Mercy One in Mason City, where they performed surgery to stop the bleed. He was also intubated as he was not breathing on his own and remained in ICU for 3 weeks. He was eventually weaned off of the ventilator and now has a trach. Improvements have been very slow but hopeful. Following the 3-week hospital stay, he was transferred to the Golden Valley Rehab Center. Jayson, Paula, and their family have a very long road ahead.

We have known Paula and Jayson for 30 years, and they have been dear friends to our family and also dear friends to many. The Christenson's are very generous people and have helped many in times of need, and now they need all of us to step up and help during this difficult time.

Let's all show our love, support, and prayers for them in this time. Please spread the word and donate to help with any expenses they may need.

An account has also been set up at Arcadian Bank in Albert Lea for donations.

Much love,

Scott, Sally, and the Fadden family
