Hi everyone my 11 year old son Jayson just got diagnosed with a brain cancer called Germinoma. This tumor is wrapped around his brain causing his spinal fluid to build up in his brain. We had surgery yesterday to remove the fluid but unfortunately got the very scary news that my baby does in fact have cancer. Today we are doing more scans to see if the cancer has spread to his spine. After we get the results from that we are being transferred to Chicago for Chemo and Radiation. This is going to be a very hard road for my son and my family as I have 4 other children as well. While Jayson is in the hospital I will be right next to him every step of the way. I know this is the holiday season and everyone is struggling which is why I hesitated on making this page however just because my baby is sick doesn't mean my bills stop. I am asking for anything regardless how small just to help my family get by that way we can put all our focus on him and not worrying about our bills at home. I love and appreciate every single one of you! I will be making updates on this page as we learn more and start the process of treatment. I ask everyone keep my baby in their prayers as this is going to be a very hard journey he's going to have to overcome. But I know my baby is strong and he WILL make it through this❤️
