Hi!
My name is Jay Keim. I have been a fixture of sorts in Lawrence, Kansas since the mid '80s. Photographer, dog dad, and regular dad, and most recently, the freshly terminated employee of O'Reilly's Auto Parts in Lawrence. That is a long story in itself, and I'm looking at lawyers right now over it.

My main concern right now is my Wet Plate Photography Studio and being able to pay the bills to keep it open, as my paycheck from work assured that would always happen.

I am a Wet Plate Photographer. This process is from the 1850s, known sometimes as Tin Types. It is very unique and not too many people do this anymore. It is a rare and important resource for the community.

Please help me keep this studio open and let's do a wet plate sometime!
