Support Jay's Recovery After Severe Motorcycle Accident

Our friend Jay Waddell, son, father, partner, and hardworking small business owner, is facing the fight of his life after a horrific motorcycle accident.

While riding his motorcycle, Jay was struck by a deer at 70 mph, totaling his bike and leaving him incredibly injured. He needed to be a life flighted to have his injuries treated.

Miraculously, he survived.

However he sustained catastrophic injuries:

• A broken neck

• A shattered pelvis

• Seven broken ribs

• Numerous other injuries requiring a long, difficult road to recovery

Jay is currently unable to walk or work, and will require extensive rehabilitation, surgeries, and home modifications. He will be wheelchair-bound for some time, and a costly ramp was urgently needed just to get him into his home.

To make matters even more challenging, Jay is the sole provider for his household. His mother suffers from dementia and requires full-time care. Now, his partner Jerica is faced with the impossible task of caring for both Jay and his mother, with no income coming in and mounting expenses.

Jay is a man who has always been full of life. He puts others before himself and has the kindest heart you could imagine. He’s an active, driven business owner who loves his family and his community deeply. He now needs our love and support more than ever.
