Hello. As you might know, my brother Jay, after months of back pain, was diagnosed with Metastatic (Stage IV) esophageal cancer. Within the first two weeks of diagnosis, he has had two operations on his spine which has left him unable to stand. He is now home, and insurance is not helping with the costs for transporting him to his medical procedures, resulting in significant out-of-pocket expenses for ambulance transport. These transport costs are not covered by insurance, and each trip to the hospital is a financial challenge for our family.
Despite these obstacles, Jay remains determined to attend every appointment, knowing that each visit brings him closer to recovery. The more appointments he can make, the better his chances of regaining mobility and eventually being able to travel by car instead of ambulance. Our family is doing everything we can to support him, but the ongoing costs are overwhelming.
We are reaching out for help right now with the transport costs and daily needs. Any support means so much to Jay and our family as he works toward recovery. Your kindness and generosity will help ease the burden and give Jay the best chance at healing.
